A weekend guide to the Maurice River
Wineries, glass art, river cruises and beaches — how to spend two easy days around Sai Villa.
The Maurice River winds through some of the quietest corners of South Jersey. Here is a simple plan for a weekend that mixes time on the water with a few nearby favorites.
Saturday: river and vineyards
Start with coffee in the sun room and an early paddle from the private dock. After lunch, Cedar Rose Vineyards and Maurice River Cruises are each about five minutes away.
Sunday: art and the shore
WheatonArts and the Glasstown Arts District are ten minutes from the villa. If the beach is calling, Ocean City and Sea Isle are about 30 minutes away, with Cape May and Wildwood around 40.
